Sunday Worship and Holy Communion at 10:00 am

Join in person, on Zoom Meeting, or watch a live stream on our Facebook page. (Please call church for zoom meeting information at: 516-752-9254)
Walk-ins Welcome
No mask? No worries, we have plenty

What’s new is that although the priest consecrates bread and wine as usual, only the priest consumes wine.  When the host indicates its your turn to come forward, she or he will squirt some sanitizer on your hands to rub in on your way forward.  When you come before me, stretch out your hands and I will drop the Host on them.  Then walk to the side aisle, lift your mask enough to consume the bread, and return to your seat.  I will also include the adapted prayers for those who cannot be physically present to receive.

St. Thomas' Episcopal Church
Daily Morning Prayer

9:00 AM on weekdays, Monday through Friday

A written bulletin is e-mailed to attendees at the start of every season (with at least two bulletins covering the long Ordinary Days), and reflects on aspects of the seasonal focus. The service s loosely based on seasonal Morning Prayer, and currently, everyone participates in some way: doing one of the readings and/or prayers, general response (read by one person, who acts for the group as a whole). Our current Lenten service lasts approximately 20 minutes and meets on weekdays (Monday through Friday).

If you are interested, please contact Carol Eskesen Smith at eskesmith@ hotmail.com or by telephone at 631-249-5113. Your name will be added to our Prayer Group list and email you a copy of our current bulletin (good until April 15). We welcome your company.

On Thursday, March 17, Fr. John Hunt, Priest in Charge at St. Thomas', will be joining us for Morning prayer, and will start a discussion around 9:20 on the early days of the faith, specifically around the Desert Fathers and Mothers prior to approximately 400 AD. (The first session, on Tuesday, March 8, was around a half hour, and he packed a lot of information into his talk.
